As Assistant Controller for DWC, Stacey Nakahara works with the firm’s finance and accounting teams on projects and assignments of all kinds.

A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Nakahara has extensive expertise in corporate and tax accounting, as well as leadership experience across finance, accounting, tax, operations, and human resources functions.

Having served as a Chief Financial Officer and public accounting Tax Manager, Ms. Nakahara brings extensive experience in multi-entity financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, tax compliance, and operational oversight to DWC and its clients. Prior to joining DWC, she served as CFO and Vice President of T. Fetter & Co. and as Senior Tax Manager at Gatto, Pope & Walwick, LLP, both based in San Diego. In addition to her executive and financial leadership experience, Ms. Nakahara has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community service, having served on the Board of Directors and Chair of the finance and audit committees of 211 San Diego, President and Board of Governors Member of The Executive’s Association of San Diego, and Treasurer of her local fastpitch softball league.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from University of San Diego.
