Villa Real is a 163 unit apartment complex located on 10 acres in Carlsbad, California.  Amenities included a pool, tennis court, racquet ball court, gym, dry sauna, pool table, ping pong table and RV storage area.

Project Description

Douglas Wilson Companies (DWC), agent for Referee, was charged with maintaining, preserving and eventually selling the asset.

Scope of Work

The Referee coordinated with the property management company on the day-to-day activities. The Referee also oversaw roof repairs, slab repairs, extensive soils testing and monthly distributions to the partners. Per the court’s order, DWC engaged Cushman and Wakefield to market and sell the property.

The property was sold and the Referee was discharged.
