In his role as Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Douglas Wilson Companies (DWC), Stephen Walton is responsible for designing and leading our organizations corporate brand marketing and reputation as well as community engagement, media relations, and business development.  As a member of the executive leadership team, Mr. Walton drives DWC’s growth across existing and new business channels.

From 2015 to 2023, Mr. Walton served as regional head of marketing at Polsinelli, one of the top performing law firms in the U.S. Mr. Walton has held a number of senior positions at large pharmaceutical and financial services companies including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, and Bank of America where he led marketing and communications to support the company’s pipeline and assets from inception to commercialization.

Providing valuable insight and guidance on the issues of corporate strategy, Mr. Walton applies his marketing and business development acumen to the strategic efforts of DWC’s leadership team. His experience allows him to pioneer new initiatives and strategic partnerships for DWC and support the growth of existing client relationships.

Mr. Walton holds a Bachelor of Science from Guilford College and is a former NCAA national golf championship winner. As an aviation enthusiast he attended flight school and earned his pilot’s license. He served as Board Chair for Global Chamber, an international member-based organization focused on accelerating cross-border business, trade and investment among many of the world’s most successful companies.
