As Senior Managing Director, Mr. Bruce focuses on internal and client-facing project management work across DWC’s business channels, including the firm’s Real Estate Advisory, Real Estate Development, and Receivership Service segments. He manages day-to-day project initiatives including project development and operations, financial management, analysis, and business development. 

With more than a decade in the industry, Mr. Bruce has spent his professional experience in all aspects of real estate, development, and construction encompassing both new and renovation construction projects. During this time, Mr. Bruce has also developed an array of mixed project experience including general commercial, healthcare, life science, food & beverage, multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, and infrastructure/civil. With project budgets ranging from $2M to over $1B, Mr. Bruce has worked on several landmark projects throughout the Southwest Region such as the UCSD Jacobs Medical Center in La Jolla, CA and PHX Automated Sky Train (PH.1) in Phoenix, AZ.

Mr. Bruce has experience managing all phases of the development process including project planning & design, land use and entitlements, financial review & pro forma analysis, budget & schedule formulation, cash flow management, project performance reporting, occupancy & FF&E coordination, and general project management and oversight. He has served in various capacities as general contractor, developer, and consultant working for ownership clients comprising of private, public, and REIT stakeholders.

Mr. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Northern Arizona University, as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate and an MBA from University of San Diego. A San Diego native, he currently is a board member for San Diego Habitat for Humanity. He is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) credentialed from the U.S. Green Building Council, since 2009, and is a licensed general contractor.
