Project Description:
A full service golf and ski resort with four 18-hole championship golf courses, two ski mountains with over 45 runs, three hotels, convention center and hundreds of condominiums and custom home sites.

Scope of Work:
As Receiver, Douglas P. Wilson was charged with restoring stability to and enhancing the operations of the Shanty Creek development including multiple hotels, ski and golf courses. Upon appointment, the Company began a financial analysis, golf and resort membership plan analysis and developed a program to bring financial viability back to the resort. The Company engaged in lease and contract negotiations and began a campaign of promotions and public relations to increase sales and member satisfaction. In addition, the Company has been retained to broker the property and has begun a targeted multi-state marketing campaign.
