Project Description:
A master planned residential development and golf course located on 3,000 acres of land in Borrego Springs California. The property includes an 18-hole, Ted Robinson designed, championship golf course, surrounded by 1,600 custom home sites.

Scope of Work:
Appointed by the Superior Court of California, San Diego County to provide various receivership services. Subsequent to the receivership Douglas Wilson Companies was retained by Metwest Mortgage Services to manage the golf course and club operations. Preserved and protected assets through three successive Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings. Resolved open real estate tax issues on several hundred parcels. Consulted on the status of developer entitlements. Coordinated developer's responsibilities and obligations regarding seven existing homeowners associations.
