One | Hundred | Mill
A $190 million, 2.51 acre, mixed-use property in the heart of Tempe, AZ, developed in partnership with Hensel Phelps Development LLC. The development includes 260,000 square feet of “Class A” office space, a 237-room Kimpton hotel, 20,000 square feet of restaurant and retail, and is being built for LEED Silver certification.
Scope of Work
The property is situated on the corner of Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway, the gateway to Tempe’s downtown core. DWC is managing all entitlements, design coordination, project financing, construction management, lease negotiations and marketing. A management agreement has been signed with Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group, LLC, who will operate the 237-room luxury boutique hotel on the property, featuring 12,000 square feet of conference space, a ground-level restaurant and a signature rooftop pool, bar and lounge; one of which will showcase 360-degree views of Tempe and the Phoenix valley. The One | Hundred | Mill hotel will also offer guests, the adjacent office users and visitors a modern fitness center, concierge, business center, 24-hour room service and valet parking. DWC closed on the site in late 2014. Construction is expected to begin in early 2016 with a targeted opening date of early 2018.
